乱拍“水星”《1812》

都说《1812序曲》是烂大街的曲目(不是对老柴的不敬,况且老柴本人也不太看好他的这一作品,以至后来演出的大受欢迎让他也有些意外),那就让我这个刚入门的斗胆来评评它的其中一个版本吧。水平有限,无知之处还请大家猛拍。为了方便,下文很多地方就直接简写为1812了,大家能看懂就行。

谈起老柴的《1812序曲》,很多人津津乐道的一个版本是Antal Dorati指挥Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra(貌似改名成了Minnesota Orchestra)的"水星"版本(Mercury 434 360-2)。原因大概有三点

  • 录音好

    Mercury公司的1812录过2个版本,第一次还远在单声道时代,由于利用录音技术,在乐队的演奏中加入了真正的炮声和教堂的钟声,成了发烧友和器材厂商的试音碟。到了1958年第二次录音,更是采取了当时最先进的多声道录音技术。而炮声和钟声则由前一版的拿破仑时期的古炮(在西点军校录制)和耶鲁大学校园的大钟,变成了1775年法国制造的大炮和纽约河畔教堂的钟声。而炮声和钟声也被录音师调控的恰到好处,既气势恢宏又不喧宾夺主。



  • 法国“原装”加农炮

    炮声绝对是这张碟的一大卖点,以至于很多人听1812的目的就是为了听那11响的大炮。“前5响从左到右,后6响恢弘有力”,甚至“能听出炮弹在空气中滑过”,最后“功率过大,导致功放自动断电保护了”。。。这些描述让那些没有听过1812的乐迷们心里痒痒的,总要想尽千方百计找来过把瘾。



  • 许多大师前辈老烧推荐

    你去找关于1812的乐评,找到10篇起码有8篇是拿这个版本来讲解的。





以上三大原因再加上指挥Dorati和乐团的不错的演绎,让水星1812几乎成了新手听1812的不二之选。

我这里想用我听过的一个版本来跟这个水星版简单对比一下。我第一次认真听1812用的是一个Decca的版本。Ashkenazy指挥圣彼得堡爱乐,同时还有圣彼得堡室内乐合唱团和列宁格勒军乐团的加入(Decca 455971-2)(Vladimir Ashkenazy / St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra Nikolai Korniev / St. Peterburg Chamber Choir Nikolai Ushapovsky / Leingrad Military Orchestra)。我认为大致上这两个版本有这么几个主要的区别:

  • 人声的加入

    我猜这个版本就是dx们常说的“人声版”吧(1812版本实在太多,或许还有别的更好的版本是“人声版”也说不定)。引子以及后面多次出现的合唱,使得这个版本的1812更有叙述历史的感觉。



  • 节奏更慢

    节奏慢而不拖沓。数值上来说,水星版本曲长约14:45,Decca版本约16:01。我在速度方面仔细比较了水星和这个版本,在描述法俄两军交战的时候,速度差不多一样,但是引子部分和后面出现俄罗斯风格段落的时候这个Decca版就慢的多了。但是我个人比较喜欢这样的处理,认为这样更适合展现给听者一幅俄罗斯风情的画卷。不过或许我个人比较喜欢慢的演绎吧,这在同一作者的另一作品《悲怆》上得到了验证。我个人就比较喜欢切利的那个很长的版本,呵呵。




至于有的朋友说这个版本的炮声不够过瘾,我的确比较认同。我以前第一次听的时候完全不了解1812的创作背景,也不知道里面会有传说中的法国炮。当时的感觉就是:怎么好好的打鼓打了几下改放炮来造势了?还以为是故意这样演绎,以体现这个曲子的气势。现在看来原来是我把几声相对较弱的炮声当成鼓声了,呵呵。或许是习惯了这一版本把,在听水星版的时候,觉得大炮轰起来是过瘾,可是整个曲子的音乐性下降了。而且,炮声弱并不代表气势差。最后人声的合唱,教堂的钟声,炮声相互回应其实气势上不比水星版本差很多,我往往听完过了好几秒会使劲去想刚才结尾部分我到底有没有呼吸。

总的来说,建议和我一样喜爱古典音乐又刚刚入门的朋友在欣赏这一曲目的时候不要局限在水星的这个版本,试着去横向比较一下别的版本或许你能对《1812序曲》有更多的理解。

Jonathan Ive,一个苹果永远不会忘记的名字,一个时代神话的缔造者。

生活对于他来说过于完美,一个历史学家的妻子和双胞胎孩子让人羡慕不已,事业也显得格外顺利,20年前,英格兰皇家艺术学会的位置成为了他人生的转折点。

正如很多天才的故事一样,Jonathan Ive在幼年时便与众不同:Jonathan Ive出生于伦敦的一个中产家庭,十几岁的时就沉迷于造物的神秘中。1985年 Ive 被纽卡斯尔艺术学校(Newcastle Polytechnic)的设计系录取,他的天赋很快就显现出来。在设计顾问公司 Roberts Weaver Group 实习期间,他设计了一支在顶端有圆球和夹子的笔,那种装置除了消遣别无它用。“ 这种笔立刻成为拥有者的最爱,因为你会一直想玩它。”

等到毕业的时候,Ive 已经是英国设计圈里的传奇。Grinyer 造访过 Ive 位于纽卡斯尔 Gateshead 区的公寓一次,惊讶的发现屋子里挂满了他毕业设计的泡沫模型,那是一个能使老师更好地与有听力障碍的孩子交流的微型话筒与助听器的结合体(不出所料,使用的是白色的塑料)。

我们很难能把这样一个寡言少语的秃头男人和苹果公司的闪光的高层职位联系在一起,当Ive重新翻出布满灰尘的简历后,独具慧眼的 Jobs 意识到他已经找到了他想要的人。

想通过Jobs的变态面试也是并非轻而易举的,他曾经要求设计新 Mac 的设计师不准出现一个可见的螺丝钉。结果这个设计师做出来的模型上有一个藏在把手下不易被发现的螺丝钉,于是Jobs解雇了他。

两个人一拍即合,在今后的时间里,共同创造出许多伟大的产品,一切始于第一台半透明蓝色iMac,在经历了巨大的成功之后,灵感便像喷泉一样涌现出来:iMac,Mac mini,iPod,以及今天的iPhone。



iPhone的出现有些让人意外,因为这和原来的Mac风格有些区别,iPhone同样出自Ive的苹果团队!

Ive 团队中的大部人住在旧金山,传言他们的起薪是20万美元左右,高出行业平均水平50%。他们在一个大的开放工作室中一起工作,但是拥有私人空间和绝对的隐私。普通的苹果员工不准进入,因为怕他们瞥见即将却尚未推出的产品,这也是iPhone大会之前根本没有人知道造型的根本原因!

Ive 将他的设计资金投入到艺术品般的模型上,而不是用来召集一大群人。他的设计流程高度重复——制造一个又一个的模型以将新的理念具象化。也只有 Apple 的主设计 Jonathan Ive 才能够把科技玩意雕琢得根艺术品一样。按照 Jobs 的说法,这款叫做 iPhone 的小家伙将是一个革命,它是 Touchscreen iPod + Phone + Internet Communicater 的混合体。

iPhone的设计同样来自Jonathan Ive的那颗奇异的大脑,在日以继夜的工作努力下,在苹果技术员工的支持下,终于实现了艺术和技术的完美结合,一个崭新的时代到来了!

正是Jonathan Ive让苹果的不败神话持续至今,对于他很多业内知名人世都给予了极高的评价!我想这也是对他的最大的褒奖吧!

Jonathan Ive个人简历:
1967年出生于英国,在纽卡斯尔综合性工程技术学院(Newcastle Polytechnic)学习工业设计;

下面上听感 :sweating:
器材:iPod 5.5g Video 30G + 张扬定制LineOut信号线 + C&C box便携耳放 + Shure E500(without PTH, 使用海绵套)

总的来说就是:比我服役了2年的shuffle爽太多了(废话)。
1. 噪声。直推时背景噪声虽说还没能达到很低的程度,但基本不影响音乐了。接上LineOut世界一下清静了。HiFi名言“多个器材多个鬼”对我这个刚从shuffle升上来的还在兴奋中的木耳完全不适用呀 B)
2. 三频。低频深而有力,中频能出小提琴的弦音,高频能感受到铜管乐器的光泽和传说中的堂音。。。(都是相比shuffle,想用神器来拍砖的dx请留情 :flowers: )
3. 声场。比shuffle自然是大了一圈拉,但更重要的是乐器的定位更清晰了

然后我还专门跑到当地的HiFi店AB对比了一下Cyrus的CD 8x,耳放用的梦想中的Lehmann :"> 结果是。。。iPod完败 :'( (不过这又是废话了,呵呵,而且Lehmann能买将近20个CC box了。。。)

With the stunning global success of Apple’s iPod music player and iTunes online music store, some have called for Apple to “open” the digital rights management (DRM) system that Apple uses to protect its music against theft, so that music purchased from iTunes can be played on digital devices purchased from other companies, and protected music purchased from other online music stores can play on iPods. Let’s examine the current situation and how we got here, then look at three possible alternatives for the future.

Much of the concern over DRM systems has arisen in European countries. Perhaps those unhappy with the current situation should redirect their energies towards persuading the music companies to sell their music DRM-free. For Europeans, two and a half of the big four music companies are located right in their backyard. The largest, Universal, is 100% owned by Vivendi, a French company. EMI is a British company, and Sony BMG is 50% owned by Bertelsmann, a German company. Convincing them to license their music to Apple and others DRM-free will create a truly interoperable music marketplace. Apple will embrace this wholeheartedly.

Time management 101

Time management, from Wikipedia,
includes tools or techniques for planning and scheduling time, usually with the aim to increase the effectiveness and/or efficiency of personal and corporate time use.

Time management for personal use is a type of self-management. In a corporate setting, time management software can satisfy the need to control employees, make it easier to coordinate work and increases accountability of individual employees.

Planning time and writing to-do-lists also consumes time and needs to be scheduled. This is one of the major criticisms of time management.
