Cloud based IME (Input Method Editor) for Chinese characters

Some of you might wonder how to input Chinese characters using your keyboard. Well normally you need to have 2 things:

1. Asian character coding sets to display the characters correctly. For instance GBK coding sets for your Windows based computers, or CJK coding sets for your portable devices.

2. Chinese character input method editor (IME) to magically transforms your keyboard inputs into square characters. Which is normally a small program you download and install to your computer. There are mainly two ways how the IME program does the job. Based on A) how you pronounce it and B) how you write it (or "draw it" for Chinese learners). Option A is much more popular today.

Since we’ve been crawling info from all over the globe for quite some time, many of us have the coding sets ready. So all you need is the IME. If you want to try it out, here's a cloud based IME. No need to install anything, just bookmark this link. It only works in browsers. More info at here. (the info link is currently only in Chinese, but it is not difficult to guess how the pictures mean.)
